Tehran is ready to restart atomic discussions with Washington as long as it is handled with "dignity" and "honor", Tehran's foreign minister has announced.

Abbas Araghchi stated only diplomacy was effective, and disclosed new appeals had come from intermediaries to resume negotiations with the US government. He said Iran did not have unreported enrichment locations, and Tehran was not yet able to allow the global atomic watchdog to access attacked atomic facilities for protective measures.

Navigating a Challenging Path

Araghchi is walking a difficult course since Iran does not want be seen to be proceeding from a stance of disadvantage, and he consistently maintained that Iran had emerged more powerful militarily and psychologically from the Israeli-US attack on its atomic facilities in June.
